birthday dinner

Jake turned the big 22 yesterday and after a relaxing day of reading, football, cake baking, napping, and Netflix, Christine and E travelled from Omaha to meet us for dinner at Brix & Stone.

We laughed about stories from break, discussed how weird it is to be in the transition state between college and "grown up", and enjoyed some "Resolution Punch." 

We also were blessed that kind strangers next to us (that we never even talked to) paid for everything. We all wished we could have thanked them for their generosity because we were blown away at their kindness. 

Happy New Year and Happy Birthday was the message the waitress told us from them.
