I saw this post and I knew that I wanted to try making these
elastics! The author of the website seemed to have made a lot more than I did I made around 65 hair bands for $10. I bought
15 yards of elastic from here (some of it was even on clearance!).
Since Valentine’s Day was coming up, I thought these would
make fun gifts for some friends!
They couldn’t be easier to make:
Cut the elastic at an angle between 8” and 9”
Hold the ends over a flame to seal the elastic in and
prevent fraying
Hold the ends of the elastic together, wrap it around your
finger, and pull the two ends through your loop as tight as you can
*The glitter elastic is awesome!
