I told myself I was going to spend my St. Patrick's day celebrating like a "college student" (since it is basically my last chance) and I would go get a green beer at a bar. Instead I celebrated the bit of Irish in me from Dad by applying sunscreen to protect my fair skin and hiding children's candy at nap time and blaming it on leprechauns. One girl did end up in a crying fit because, in her 3 whole years of life, she decided that she is deathly afraid of leprechauns.
Did you wear green today?
Here are some of the crafts we made at daycare this week: rainbows with pots of gold, finger paints, and sun-catcher-tissue-paper things.
