moving and adapting

Mom and dad helped Jake and I move our stuff this weekend to Omaha and then we enjoyed a fine afternoon and evening checking out the area. Dad had been wanting to eat a Japanese steakhouse for a while now and so we went to Genji and had an awesome time watching the chef do tricks and see the food being cooked right at our table. We even caught the shrimp in our mouths that he tossed, what fun!

This summer I plan to work on many new projects and hobbies before medical school. Hopefully I'll be able to document them on the blog. I also will be doing some home decorating and will be posting peeks of the home along the way. Here's the first peek.

Check out these fun patterns on the pillows that came with our couch:

Currently, Anna, Jake, and I are living large on our air mattressesat our apartment in Lincoln. Anna is taking a summer class during this three week session, Jake is studying for his first CPA exam at the end of this month, and I'm working camp training, elementary school program, and day care.

Speaking of the kids, here's some of our latest art projects (themes included insects and flowers).
